We use high-quality, locally sourced fruit and vegetable produce from farms in Ontario and Western Quebec and we have a direct relationship with all of the farmers. Some products such as lemon, pectin and sugar are sourced from suppliers but are not available locally (i.e. has anyone found a lemon in Canada?). We do not use artificial preservatives or additives. Product ingredients are listed under each product on the website and on each jar.
All of all our jams, jellies, pickles, and sauces are naturally gluten-free but please take note that two products contain Whisky. Whisky is generally considered gluten-free, even if made from grains like barley, wheat, or rye. This is because the distillation process separates the alcohol from the proteins, including gluten, which remains behind in the mash. While some individuals with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities might react to trace amounts, most distilled spirits, including whiskey, are considered safe. likely contain gluten as they are grain-based alcohol. Also, For those that may be interested, even pectin is naturally gluten free. It is a type of polysaccharide (carbohydrate) usually derived from the cell walls of citrus fruits, but can also be derived from other fruits such as pears, apples, guavas, plums, and gooseberries.
No, our products are handmade in small batches using traditional recipes that do not require artificial preservatives. We focus on natural preservation methods like canning and pickling and use natural ingredients like pickling salt, lemon and sugar as preservatives.
Our unopened jams and jellies have a shelf life between 12-24 months, while our pickles and sauces can last up to 18 months when stored in a cool, dark place. Once opened, we recommend refrigerating and consuming within a few weeks.

We ship our products across Canada! Shipping is free with a minimum purchase of $120. We offer free local delivery in the Ottawa and National Capital region. Local delivery can be arranged for a flat fee of $12.00. We also ship across Canada using Canada Post and UPS. We ship to Ontario and Quebec for a flat rate of $15.00 and to the rest of |Canada for a flat rate of $25.00.Please note that we do not currently offer international shipping outside of Canada. Orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Canada-wide shipping typically takes between 4 to 7 business days, depending on Canada Post and UPS delivery times.
