We use high-quality, locally sourced fruit and vegetable produce from farms in Ontario and Western Quebec many of whom we have a direct relationship. Some products such as lemon, pectin and sugar are sourced from suppliers but are not available locally (i.e. has anyone found a lemon in Canada?). We do not use artificial preservatives or additives. Product ingredients are listed under each product on the website. The QR code on your label will bring you back to the site to learn more about the ingredients

Yes, all our jams, jellies, pickles, and sauces are naturally gluten-free. For those that may be interested, even pectin is naturally gluten free. It is a type of polysaccharide (carbohydrate) usually derived from the cell walls of citrus fruits, but can also be derived from other fruits such as pears, apples, guavas, plums, and gooseberries.

No, our products are handmade in small batches using traditional recipes that do not require artificial preservatives. We focus on natural preservation methods like canning and pickling and use natural ingredients like pickling salt, lemon and sugar as preservatives.

Our unopened jams and jellies have a shelf life between 12-24 months, while our pickles and sauces can last up to 18 months when stored in a cool, dark place. Once opened, we recommend refrigerating and consuming within a few weeks.

It depends. At this time, we do not have large volumes of product but we are looking for opportunities to do so and would be happy to talk to you about this. Please contact us directly here for more details.

We offer free local delivery and pickup in the Ottawa and National Capital region. We also ship across Canada using Canada Post. We ship to Ontario and Quebec for a flat rate of $15.00 and to the rest of |Canada for a flat rate of $25.00.Please note that we do not currently offer international shipping outside of Canada. Orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Local deliveries are made on Tuesdays and Fridays, while Canada-wide shipping typically takes between 4 to 7 business days, depending on Canada Post’s delivery times.

For those receiving orders from couriers (e.g. outside of the Ottawa area), once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor its progress.
